2005 - John Bala Jones Catarina band that was born in Lagoa da Conceicao in Florianopolis, is formed by musicians, Guilherme Ribeiro on vocals, Jerome Thompson on guitar and Fernando Pereira, Mateo Troncoso on bass, Fabio Barreto on drums and Giulio Franco on percussion.
Under strong influence of rock, funk, soul, rap, samba and many Brazilian rhythms, this crew can make a powerful sound, bridging the best of music.
Musicians, in general, were strongly influenced by national bands like Red Baron, Planet Hemp, Offspring and O Rappa. But then we started playing, creating your own arrangements, his own harmonies, that is, its own style.
